Hello!
The last 2 weeks has been quite confusing for me.
After making all my delicious gourmet foods i felt very ill. I ate too much, late at night, when i wasn't hungry and i felt sick and i had the runs.
For the last week my stomach has felt very heavy and bloated and i lost my appetite.
Ive had numerous comments about it:
'You need a hot meal inside of you'
- Yeah, like heat is going to make me feel better! Yeah, why dont i just cook my insides and eat dead food...this will liven me up a whoooole lot! Mum, if you dont have anything constructive to say..shut the hell up!
'You've poisoned yourself'
- Yes, i have eaten too much heavy, rich food, and my body didn't want/need it. I didn't poison myself... if i wanted to do that i would have cooked it first!
' You need to start eating properly'
- Yeah, eating fat, disease, cholesterol laden animal products, dead, lifeless veg, heavy grains, processed meals and junk food is going to give me the best life possible. You start to feel so good and become like everyone else... in pain, diseased, depressed, lethargic, constipated, etc etc etc. I could just go on.
For fuck sake, this is the second time i have been ill in 3 years! Give me a fucking break! How about we see how many times you get ill and then lets see who is calling the kettle black!?
I am feeling ok now though. A bit weak and tired. My blood sugar is fucking me around. going high all the time. Although i think it is because for the last week i have done no exercise at all.. which is never good, especially for me.
I am looking forward to being back to normal so i can cycle everywhere and run around as normal!
One good thing to come out of this though is i have been doing a lot of net surfing and reading up more about 80/10/10. I have been reading Freelees blog and i find it very interesting and also very true. Now that girl eats ALOT of fruit.. but she also exercises alot. She has a great, toned body and that is and always has been one of my biggest goals...to get washboard abs!
We are have been programed to think that fruit sugars are bad for us and in large quantities will make us fat, rot our teeth etc but as of yet, i have seen no sign of this in an 80/10/10 follower. I have only seen people get fat when they have combined fruit and fat.
So Here we are again...seems to be back where i was all those months ago...trying a high fruit LOW FAT diet.
Just properly this time, with guidelines! I think i know what im doing a bit more now... well, more than 5 months ago lets hope!
I love the idea of eating fruit, fruit and more fruit! I still have it in my mind that i will get fat (which is the last thing i want to do)but i need to trust myself and just go for it.
In Freelee's post she said she put on a bit of weight first for a few months (although this is guna be mostly water weight)but then it came off her.
Id like to gain a bit more muscle. Im fairly athletic anyway, i just have a roll of fat covering my otherwise AMAZING abs..and i want this GONE GONE GONE!!!!
Peace out x
I finally have my perfect body i have always wanted (muscle and sculpture wise) i just need to loose the fat now.

The sun brings out my creative side
Hello!
Its been lovely and sunny here in the UK and it defenatly brings out my creative side.
Its strange, in winter i feel like i want to eat light and simply, but as soon as the sun comes out and i get the summer bug, i suddenly want to eat heavier and get more creative food wise.
I decided to do a few gourmet style recipes this weekend which turned out very well.
I was going to make a chocolate sauce, which went wrong, and instead i got a fudge/brownie mixture!!!! it was AMAZING AND TOTALLY DELICIOUS!
So far i have just mixed it with goji berries but i have many different things i could make with it
Im looking forward to making a seed energy bar, which i think would work very well.
I made Nut balls, fugde/brownies and chololate and fig cheesecake. All of which are delicious if i do say so myself! (photos will be added at some point!)
I bought a spiralizer also, and made my first spaghetti and sauce today and LOVED IT! It has rekindled my love of pasta, and i love that i can made raw pasta that taste just as good as the bad kind!
My leg is getting better so im looking forward to starting to do more exercise. Its been driving me nuts not being as active as usual.
I hope to get some photos up soon

Frost kills so why freeze?
Hey there :)
I cant remember where i read it but i remember reading a passage somewhere about not eating frozen foods. It wasn't a new piece of nutritional/raw literature written by one of the 'leaders' of raw living, but rather from an old text.
It mentioned something along the lines of not eating anything exposed/heated by fire or frozen and not eating animals. Very vague i know but you catch the drift! (if you know what passage of text i am on about feel free to post it to me!)
Now i know what damage heat does, which is of course is why i eat raw but i thought 'whats wrong with freezing raw foods? One of my favorite foods when i first turned raw was frozen banana, berries and raw ice cream, which i do admit, helped me enormously.
I haven't eaten anything frozen for a long time now, i haven't even thought about it.
It occurred to me the other day (yes, the light bulb just went off in my head!) why we shouldn't eat frozen foods.
If you are a gardener, or are at all interested in plants you know that frost kills alot of plants. Leaves and fruit die..which obviously isn't good! And a freezer is colder than a frost! So what is freezing going to do to the food? It is destroy and kill alot more of the goodness and life force than people think, so just bare this in mind when you go to freeze that lovely living fruit and veg!
FROST KILLS!

'normal' people think im crazy! Rawvolution
Hello everyone!
Sorry i haven't blogged for a while, i have been very busy job hunting and doing work for my NVQ.
Well i suppose its time for an update to let you know what has been going on!
I seem to have caught the 'exercise bug' I cant stop exercising! I have always been active and have done sports or gone to the gym, but now i just want to do and try everything. I love using my body to the best of its ability. I love to push myself to the limit. I have boundless energy and i want to use it! why not? my body is athletic and strong and can cope with it, in fact it is flourishing.
One thing which keeps me focused towards my goals is remembering that it is MY body, mine,i am the sole owner. It is the one thing i will have that is truly mine, so why not make it the best damn body it could ever be? You would have the best car and house if you could, so why neglect your body?
So what am i doing?
cycling ( hill work approx 10ish miles round trip to work)
physical job
Horse riding
Parkour
Want to try
Gymnastics
kick boxing
pole dancing
break and street dancing
fencing
Have done and want to start doing again
swimming
martial arts
boxing
squash
dancing
body balance
spinning
gym
The only thing that is stopping me is that i have to wait until i get a new job so i can afford to do all these things!
The Parkour aka freerunning (moving freely though out the city) is a new thing i am doing. Unfortunately during the warm up i killed my thighs so they have been VERY stiff for a week now which is a personal record! I have been taking it easy and resting. I have just started doing light exercising again. Once my legs are healed there will be no stopping me! Its been killing me not being able to exercise like i normally do, i want to practice my parkour so i am better for my next lesson, but with a week off its really put me behind.
I also bought a bike recently. its a carrera crossfire with 500c tyres. Its a hybrid bike but it is leaning more towards a road bike. It is my baby! I love him. He is called 'the green machine.' When i get a bit more money, i am getting a load of bumper stickers off the Internet. They will be advocating raw foods and vegan lifestyle so i will be sticking them all over my bike :)
Every one seems to think i am crazy and that i have a problem because i enjoy exercising so much...how strange! i am keeping fit and this is bad?
Back to raw foods!
I have been experimenting with my easting habits recently. I have been high fat and then high fruit and then back to high fat, before working out what i needed to eat.
High fat was very nice. I love avocado and coconut but it just wasn't something that i was able to keep up. It was having a negative effect on my body. I was always having the runs which obviously isn't pleasant and i also but on a few pounds which is the opposite of what i want really.
Its good to have 1 or 2 days a week where you have a coconut or a nice avocado meal, but to consume fat everyday is just something i do not think is healthy..well not for me anyway.
High fruit of course is great for a bit and some people can strive on this diet, but i think mentality has something to do with this as well.
I love eating fruit and when i go to the big market every week there is so much choice and amazing deals i cant help but get loads. What happens is i get fruit which i love and then i will eat it all within 3-4 days. It is not healthy to scoff fruit like i do. It makes me bloated, gassy and makes my teeth sensitive. I cannot eat the fruit i was buying sensibly because i can some times be a right pig and just stuff myself.
There are fruits which i wont scoff such as apples, pears, melon, grapefruit, pomegranates and plums, so when i went to the market i only bought these. I have loads of greens and these fruits so i will eat them sensibly and feel good. Its worked so far. I am not eating to the point of feeling uncomfortable and i still have tonnes of energy.
I feel good now and i hope that this will only improve my fitness.
anyway thats enough for one post!
take care
peace x

My package has arrived! super foods not so super?!
Hello!
My wonderful box arrived today from http://www.detoxyourworld.com/acatalog/
which included; 100g Maca root
100g Carob powder
1Fl oz Marine phytoplankton-- see for benefits www.thebestfoodever.com/oceans-alive
142g Natures living superfood-- see for benefits http://www.detoxyourworld.com/acatalog/nls.html
20g crystal manna flakes-- see for benefits http://www.ancientsuninc.com/crystalmanna
I added some NL super food and Crystal manna to my juice this morning, and i have to admit, it was a bit like drinking pond water..! Im sure the flavour will grow on me..well i hope so, im meant to double the dosage at some point!
I am pleased with the MPP (marine phytoplankton) i added 6 drops in a glass of water with some lemon juice and within minutes i got an energy rush. Im still buzzing now! I will have it in the morning and before bed i think. It will help the cells repair and assist my body in doing what it needs to do at night i hope.
I will not continue on with BOTH NLSF and CM as i cant afford them, especially with the price of MPP, so we will have to see which one i prefer. I must admit, i am taken back and impressed at the amount of ingredients in NLSF though.
Now the carob and maca are a different story!
Somebody should have warned me....and i wouldn't have WASTED £3.55 each on them both!!
I was really looking forward to trying them, seeing as i like cacao so much. I though these would be nice too...but oh no, my tastebuds dislike.
Now i have to find something to wo with 100g of maca and carob powder!
Anyhoo i also bought some PH strips to test myself. I was 7.5 (great!) and then 6.5.....and then 6! whats going on i thought..ive eaten nothing but green foods all day!
A bit taken back by this, i did a little research and some questioning and apparently fat can cause the body to go acidic. Now i am eating up to 2 avocados a day, which IS a lot of fat, especially for a raw foodie like myself, so next week when the avo's have ran out, i will reduce my fat intake and see where that takes me. Ive been wanting to do that anyway, so here's a good excuse!
I also have ordered a couple of books. David Wolfe's 'eating for beauty' and 'sunfood diet success systems' which i am really looking forward to receiving.
I also have received Enigma, the cross of changes. I just LOVE that CD so i have been listening to it at bed time and have been drifting off nicely into my sleep, where recently the oddest dreams have been awaiting me! You know what, ive researched them, and they are all mean bad things! great!!!!
anyway im tired and my enigma CD awaits!
Adios!

More food
Some of my food
Big update!!!!
Hello all,
Ive been meaning to blog, but i just have not got round to it I'm afraid.
Things have been going well, Ive eaten all of those avocados, which i very much enjoyed! I went to the market last week and bought some huge avos for 50p each! They are so delicious too, i could just eat them every day (and would if they were ripe!)
Im only eating 1 coconut per week. I only just realised that they were 70% fat! No wonder why i stopped loosing weight! Im still eating avocados because they are not as high in fat and because i love mixing them with cabbage or lettuce, and i have that whenever i have a ripe avo. It helps me eats lots of greens in a dish that i completely love and could live on!
I also have cut my date addiction down! I only have them once or twice a week now. I very nearly bought a 5kg box of them, but i told my mum not to ask for it! I just know i will end up binging on them which is never good. Every food in moderation, this i have found to be very true.
I have just spent the earth on some things i have been wanting for sooo long!
Maca powder, carab powder, Natures living superfood, Crystal manna, oceans alive phytoplankton (all from detoxyourworld.com)
and also PH strips, Eating for Beauty, Sunfood diet success systems and complete book of raw foods. These should keep me bust for a while! Im so looking forward to getting them. I will give you the verdict on them when i have used them.
Ive been especially looking forward to having the phytoplankton, as i have heared that it is an amazing, nutrient dense food(kinda) containing all 8 amino acids.
I also discovered i cant eat broccoli (well i could if i wanted to...) I find it very hard to digest. It makes me bloated, gassy and have cramps. It also depletes all my energy. So i will not be eating broc. Too many kiwis also arnt good for me, it burns my mouth, as does pineapple, even if ripe. Its too much acid for me. It bloats me and burns my mouth badly, which then causes me to have bad sores at the side of my lips for a week. I'll have a little pineapple now and again, just not too often anymore.
I get Eva Rawposas news bites by email, and i listened to her sound clip about the strange things she does in the shower (nothing dodgy here!)
She is training her body to warm itself up by having hot and cold showers. I tried this. After exfoliating etc, i turned the shower cold for 30 secs and then hot for 30 secs, i did this for a few times. Now this may seem like torture, esp in January, but i found it really fun actually! I could turn the shower colder as i got used to it, and then the next day felt really warm, even though it was only like 3C! I think your meant to feel the benefits after a couple of weeks, but i could feel it straight the way. Its defiantly worth a go if you can handle it!!! I DARE you!!
Anyway im off to bed now!
Take care and stay raw vegan!

avocado, avocado, avocado and mangos as big as yer head!
Good evening.
Well my diet hasn't exactly gone to plan...Some how i ended up in the possession of around 34 avocados! They have all ripened pretty quickly, so i have been having around 4 a day (with no negative effects!)
My fave recipe this week:
Vegetable greens
avocado
tomato
Just mash up avo, shred greens and dice tomatos...mix and enjoy!
I have actually been enjoying the avocados, its been a nice change from the coconuts, although i really do miss them!
From monday, even though i still have 4-5 avos left i will be controlling my eating a little better.
I have loads of fruit, about 30 satsumas, 10 bananas, 3 mangos (2 of which are HUGE!) about 17 kiwis and a few apples and pears.
Even though i have so much, they were actually really cheap from the market. i <3 the market! Its fab!
anyway i dont have too much to tell right now, so will update you soon!
peace out x

What i eat
hello friends
I'm going to write this post on what i eat on average, how its working out for me and what i want to change.
My shopping list consists of:
coconut- eat
dates- eat
goji berries- eat
kiwi- eat
satsumas- eat
apple- juice
banana- eat
baby leaves- eat
lettuce- eat
celery- juice
cucumber- juice
carrots- juice
broccoli- eat/juice
beetroot- juice
red cabbage- juice
lemon and lime- juice
ginger- juice
beansprouts- eat
tomato's- eat
avocados- eat
Red pepper- eat/juice
some times i will get berries, other root veg, fresh herbs, radishes and anything else i want to try juicing. I don't always get these foods every week, but these are the most popular and regular foods i will have in my diet.
Daily eating:
7.00am- 1 pint of vegetable juice
10.30am- a small snack like some cucumber or celery
1.00pm- a big salad and if I'm still hungry, 1 piece of fruit
5.00pm- 1 pint of vegetable juice
evening- i tend to snack in the evening. mainly on fat like avocado or coconut and also fruit.
In the morning after my juice, i have so much energy. I feel so energised, bouncing and glowing. I feel great! I have only been drinking juice since Christmas but it has made SUCH a difference already, i cannot stress to you enough how big a difference juicing has made. I threw myself into juicing a bit to quickly, and my body is still adjusting to it and I'm still adjusting the juicing to my body. This is my main form of getting nutrients into my body now. Id love to do a juice fast soon, i think it would be so much fun.
Throughout the day i feel good and energised. Eating greens out the day makes me feel good, but if i eat 1 piece of fruit during the day then i will crave fruit so badly it will drive me nuts, so i only tend to eat greens while I'm at work, and this provides me will all the energy i need.
The evening is where i have a problem. I love to eat and i over eat when I'm not active. I will eat to the point of feeling sick and it not good for me.
My new years resolution is to stop eating when i am full, and i have also drawn myself an eating chart.
Monday- nuts and seeds
Tuesday- no fat
Wednesday- Avocado, seeds or Brazil nuts
Thursday- no fat
Friday- no fat
Saturday- coconut or avocado + dates (if not fasting)
Sunday- if not fasting, fats can be eaten in lieu of sat
* If doing a 2 day fast, fats cannot be be eaten on any other day in lieu of the weekend*
I feel good, and lighter when i eat low fat and the only reason i seem to be eating more fat is because i cut down my fruit intake alot. I used to be eating fruit for breakfast, then as a snack, another piece at lunch and then in the evening. Yes, i was full of energy, but i also didnt loose any weight, which is what i wanted to. I also felt bloated, gassy and i didnt want to consume that much sugar. So i feel better for cutting out the fruit, but i also want to reduce the fat aswell because im having it about 4-5 times a week. Yes im loosing weight, but i feel to heavy. I want to eat more greens like baby leaves.
So there it is!

Telling others you are raw. Dealing with people
Good evening!
I hope you are enjoying your new years eve!
Ive just had some dates which i haven't had in a week! :O and i are a handful and I'm full! trust me, i can eat 50 a night but i got full on about 16 (which yes, i know is still alot!)
I made a nice juice this morning:
carrot, apple, red pepper, radish, ginger and sugar snap peas. Sounds odd doesn't it, but it is actually quite pleasant!
I want to talk about a topic which every raw foodie has been through, or budding rawie is worrying about. The criticism and prejudice you may be faced with when others find out you are raw. So far things have been good for me really. Everyone i tell is very interested and asks me question about it, and because i am so excited by being raw i gush and smile alot when i talk about it and i think this rubs off on others. I often get nice comments like how healthy i look and occasionally someone will say 'are you still on that rabbit food diet' and i will laugh and say yes because i know they mean no harm, and to be honest im glad that people mention it, even if it is in jest, as it means it has made an impression on people and they actually think about it occasionally. I know me being raw has had a good effect on others, because a few people in my like have actually started eating more fruit and trying my food, which they actually enjoy. They ask questions and they learn.
My mum doesn't think i eat enough, so she will always give me fruit and veg when i go round, which i am always happy to accept, but my OH assures her that i actually eat LOADS..too much in fact!
My boyfriend has seen me go from vegetarian to vegan, and then from vegan to part raw, back to vegan and then to raw again so he thinks its just a 'phase' I'm going though.
He knows i eat well, and he will tell people this even if he doesn't say it to my face. He said if we had children i wouldn't be raw though my pregnancy as id need to do the best for the baby. So there is some kind of issue here. I know he doesn't like me raw, he is like most other people in the sense that he is brainwashed by the dairy propaganda and thinks we need it and cooked food. I know otherwise, and i know i wont eat cooked, especially if i get up the duff. Its amazing how people perceptions change when a fetus gets involved. Suddenly we need to drink cow pus and dead food to give the child the BEST possible start in life.
Fuck fresh, living foods that are majorly packed with nutrients, enzymes, vitamins and minerals, lets feed the kid shit, dead, burned, boiled, soggy, chemical laden junk and introduce free radicals as soon as the baby is born. Sooner in fact. Lets give it this crap while it cant refuse, while it is still under full protection and dependence of its mother!!!!!!!!
THIS IS CRAZY PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so now its bad to try and feed the kid good, proper FOOD?
If that is what people consider bad and wrong, then quite frankly i do not want to conceive a child in this world.
Anyway, sorry, i kinda went off on a tangent...back to the point..!
You are always going to be faced with people who don't understand this way of life, who are just ignorant. Its hard enough going vegan, in fact i had more stick from people when i went vegan! People these days, even though it has been proved being vegetarian is healthier, are still very old fashioned in their opinions about food and what is healthy. I think that it would have been widely announced that being vegan is actually healthier than consuming any animal products, but the dairy industry is so big, and their is so much propaganda in favour of it that it is unfortunately going to be a while before the truth comes out. The trousers of dairy have deep pockets and rich friends, and unfortunately money rules.
This is similar to raw vs cooked, except it is so deep rooted in our upbringing and late history that food has to be cooked before it is eaten, that people are actually SCARED of trying the raw version of their fave cooked veg!
Ive found people to be more amazed and interested in my raw eating habits, than the prejudice and criticism i have faced becoming vegan.
You will indoubitably be questioned and scrutinised and perhaps people may feel intimidated because you have taken a higher road. Smile, answer any questions they have factfully and have a sense of humour. Make meeting a raw foodist a pleasure for them and then they wont have anything nasty to say about you or raw food!
No one likes a preacher, so just be happy and yourself and people will be drawn to you, your glow and vitality.
Ignore any nasty comments, walk away because its not worth it. Why argue with someone who thinks a burger and crisps is a healthy meal? its a no brainer!
Enjoy your life, enjoy educating people and enjoy your raw food!
peace out xx

I love Juices
Hey there
Wow, i have been having so much fun with juices lately. Ive been experimenting with them left right and centre!
My faves so far:
1) celery, cucumber, lime and mint
2) carrot, red pepper, ginger, beetroot and apple
1) This is such a cooling and energising juice. Its flavours are subtle yet slightly sweet, so it goes down very well, and will be enjoyed by even the juice skeptics. You get such a massive energy boost with this juice, i recommend you do not drink it after 5pm unless you are planning to workout, otherwise you will be buzzing all night! WARNING- ingredients in this juice are considered to have diuretic properties!
2) A deep red amazing smooth juice that provides a refreshing kick. It is so full of nutrients that it is wise to not drink too much at a time. 1 glass full is enough! The carrot and apple provides a lovely sweet base which perfectly compliments the earthiness and sharpness of the beet and pepper. The ginger adds an after kick which not only screams 'take notice of me' but that also helps aids digestion and helps prevents colds among many other things. Just be aware that Lots of beetroot may have a laxative effect. Again, major energy kick with this one!
I just feel so energized, glowing and completley full of nutriants. I just feel so fucking healthy!
I JUST LOVE VEGETABLE JUICES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nearly 3 months 100% raw Happy christmas!
Hello all!
Its been such a long time since i have blogged on here. Ive moved house, and not had the internet for goodness knows how long! anyway here i am and i will give you a quick update.
I am still 100% raw with NO slip ups and have been for around 87 ish days- nearly 3 months and im amazingly happy about it
I have lost 11lb, mostly from my hips and my confidence is getting better. I just feel so much better when i look in the mirror now.
My OH got me a juicer for xmas so i have been juicing twice a day and LOVING it! I could just live off them! (and i would if i could bring it too work with me!)
Maximun health here i come!!!!
My fave juices so far are;
Carrot, beetroot, ginger and apple
Beetroot, cranberry, carrot and red pepper
celery, cucumber, parsley and apple
For a while my body has been wanting more simple and mono foods, which i have been happy to provide. I have been eating alot more fats too, which i am going to change in the new year.
I dont mind eating fat. but im eating coconuts twice a week, nuts twice a week and avocados twice a week and i want to limit it to 3 kinds of fat per week. So avocado and coconut once a week and seeds once a week. Im choosing seeds over nuts because they contain more protein. Avocado doesnt contain too much in the way of carbs and protein but is high in fat and calories, as is the coconut, but they both have super nutrients in them so i still want them in my diet. At the moment it is winter, and im very active so all the fat im eating still gets used up.
I have stopped eating so much fruit too (at last!) Im no longer having it at breakfast and as a snack. I did have nothing first thing..well i will be having a veg juice now, then at 10 il have some greens, then at lunch a salad and then in the evening a juice and my fruit, fat or whatever i choose to eat. so im alot more happy with that because if i have a salad and then fruit, i will immediatly crave fruit and want more and it will drive me mad, whereas if i just have a salad it will satisfy me.
I had a lovely christmas dinner. 3 massive beef tomatos filled with delicious avocado and for dessert i made a chocolate tart which was so rich and filling.
I have been wating to grow my own food for a while now, so im going to look into getting an alotment so i can grow all my veg and salad :D Imagine it
Fresh organic lettuce, tomatos, carrots, beeroot, radish, pepper, courgette, swede, turnip etc etc. :D
anyway im going to leave it there for now.
will keep you updated!
peace out x

the no fruit challenge
hey
Its been a while, so i thought id better update!
I have been trying to eat more simply recently because my body just wants simple fresh foods, but it is proving harder than i thought!
Tomorrow i am going to have celery in the morning for breakfast, stir fry (raw of course!) for lunch with sliced cucumber, and then i have no idea...lol. Id love to...no, in fact i am setting myself a challenge. Tomorrow, i am going to eat NO fruit! veg, salad and water here i come!!
Im really looking forward to it. In fact, id love to do a week with no fruit. I'll see how tomorrow goes and then i'll perhaps do it next week!
Ive been eating more fat the last week, which i want to stop doing. I think its because i have been cold quite alot. I want to continue to loose weight and i dont want fat to be slowing it down. its been making me feel bloated aswell because for some reason i have been binging on it..which of course is NEVER good, even if its raw food.
I was really pleased today because i got a 1/2 bag of dates for £1.44! :O AMAZING! Ive eaten them all though, and im very stuffed and bloated because ive drank loads of water too!
Im a little sad and guilty. Were getting rid of our 2 Bengal cats which my bf has had for 6 years. They will be VERY sadly missed, but its for the best.
Ive also been looking for a new job...well a career. In recruitment or promotions. I want to earn good money!!!!!
well bye for now!

Changes in my body-wants
hello!
For starters, im no longer putting day...100% raw. I can never remember what day it is, and im not going to knowingly be anything but 100% raw, so there is no point in putting it!
I have noticed that when i have tried to eat food that includes alot of combinations i just dont want them anymore. Im craving simple foods and smaller amounts, which is great because i am getting more aware of my body.
Although i am still wanting my goey chocolate pudding!
From next week i am cutting back my fruit intake :(
im trying to even out my fruit and greens intake, i know that im eating too much fruit, and that i have too much energy and i dont need that much. I dont want to eat that much sugar.
we will see how that goes then!

day 29: 100% raw- nearly a month raw- review
hey
I cant believe its been this long! Not only has it been ages since i blogged, but Ive done nearly 1 whole month raw!
I feel great and this is defiantly something that i am keeping to. You have probably gathered that from my other posts, but i though id review everything after a month, and well its nearly a month so i thought 'what the hell, 2 days arnt going to make a difference!'
Ok, so here goes.
Pro's
Clear glowing skin
weight loss
never going hungry
never dieting
amazing energy
happiness
connected to the earth
healthier
making positive choices about what i eat and put in my body
being more aware
amazing blood sugar control
learning things all the time
trying new foods ( pomegranate, parmission, papaya, custard apples, hazel, walnuts and Brazil nuts, goji berries, raw cacao, medjool dates, kale, flaxseed, beetroot, sprouts etc)
Learning the amazing things your body can do
learning to love yourself for who you are
your taste changing
the feeling of serenity
feeling different from those around you, because you have felt the power of raw food, and you can see ill health of others
Con's
The boyfriend moaning about not being able to go out and eat (although everywhere does salad!)
The cost of fresh food (although the markets provide amazing, cheap food)
Eating too much still
So as you can see, the pro's pretty much outweigh the con's!
Many people ask, or say, 'but your missing out on this' and i say 'it depends what you see as missing out!'
If a smoker offers me a cigarette and i decline, and that person says 'your missing out' i think most people will agree with me, that actually, I'm really NOT missing out!
Or if an omnivore said to me, ' your really missing out on this McDonald's burger'......
why? because I'm not eating some processed, sterilized, awful identical remains of a tortured, ripped apart, diseased, chemical laden animal?
Ha, i hardly call that missing out! In fact, id call that utter torture! why would i want to feed myself that? its not food! my body cant process and get life giving vitamins, minerals and compounds from that!! Its just like drinking and smoking. Its poison. Why would i purposely try and poison my body? its insane.
So its the same with cooked foods. it offers little to no nutrients and life giving force for my cells and body, so why am i going to eat it? So if my body cant use it, its just poison really. Fat, stodge, toxins, free radicals, poisons.
I want to eat life giving, nutrient packed, vitamin and mineral rich, live, raw, healing, cleansing, body and life friendly foods!
Its so weird how my taste has changed too. Before, i hated nuts, not i love eating them, especially brazil nuts. I also cant eat that much fat, it makes me feel yucky.
Talking ofyuvky, i have not stopped eating tonight and i havnt even been hungry. Ive been eating just to fill time. I do it, its one thing i am very guilty of doing and i feel sick right now because i have eaten too much and combined badly!
I bought 2 'raw bars' the other day and it was only when i ate them that i realised they were only 75% raw. This really pissed me off. IF ITS NOT RAW, WHY SAY IT IS!!!??? 75% isn't raw, its high raw, not raw. Raw is 100%....it wasn't 100%, so it isn't raw, FUCKING TWATS.
Don't advertise something to be raw when it isn't raw. This really gets to me, trying to make something out to be what it isn't.
Well Ive learned my lesson. No more junk food. just fantastic fresh and occasionally dried foods.
Ugh i feel sick............ NOT SO MUCH EATING CHERRY!

Day 22: 100% raw- fluffing a fast
hey
Well yesterdays fast didnt go too well. I bought 5 packets of dates and put them in the cupboard.....and well they just kept calling me. I was doing fine on my fast, but then i got a slight bit of tummy ache and thats all i needed to send me after those dates!
I ate 4 packets, and felt awful.
This morning i felt like shit, so i went to work and didnt eat untill lunch time which made me feel a hell of alot better.
Im glad i did it. It taught me a lesson! A big lesson! Trust me, i wont be doing it again!
I bought 3 bags of bananas the other day and they are just starting to ripen, so i am enjoyng those at the minute :D
Im curious to see how many calories and fat i am consuming in an average week so im going to write it all down on a spread sheet, starting from today.

Day 21: 100% raw- 1 day water fast
hey there,
Ive decided that the little 'illness' i have is detox because with a proper illness, it gets worse before it gets better. Well mine is getting better after only a day. To help speed it up im doing another 1 day water fast. I look forward to doing a fast one day a week. It freshens me up and keeps me gagging for that A-M-A-Z-I-N-G raw food!
Its also teaching me better eating habits and gives me time to think. (even though im starving already!)
Id love to do more meditating. I havnt actually done any yet, but last time when i did, it was amazing.
Love the fast that the sky is pure blue. Im going to try and make the most of it today!

The 'stuff you face all day long and STILL loose weight' diet
One thing that i would hope to achieve becoming raw is a little weight loss. Well about a stone. That would be ideal. I don't weigh myself often, but I'm always looking at my 'fat parts' in hope of seeing them shrink. So everyday Ive been looking, and seeing no sign of them getting less flabby until a few days ago i put on a pair of trousers. These trousers used to be quite tight on me, and now they are perfectly fitting, if not a little loose!
This got me thinking. Well OK, Ive actually lost weight! But how much?
I stepped on my friends scales yesterday and was amazed. I have lost 7lb in 20 days!!!!!!!!!!!
The best thing about it? Ive been stuffing my face all day. Ive been eating tonnes of fruit and cacao! I though being high fruit i wouldn't loose any weight, and that i will have to start reducing my fruit intake before i see any weight loss. But NO!!
I can still eat bananas, dates, goji berries, apples, kiwis, satsumas, cacao and coconut oil whenever i want, and this makes me very happy.
Now I'm not saying I'm going to carry on eating so much fruit, because i still want to even out my eating to include more greens, but it means i can stop worrying about the amount of fruit I'm eating and just do it gradually and when my body is truly ready for it.
I LOVE EATING RAW

Day 20: 100% raw. Detox or virus?
Hey
I haven't been blogging as much as normal, there is a constant fight for the computer! Also not too much has been going on. Still eating and loving 100% raw foods!!!!!!!!!!!
when ever i think about it and say it i just want to stand up and shout it to the world!
Now funnily enough, in my last post i was saying about how great my immune system is, well i think it jinxed me!
Yesterday i had a bad sore throat, headache, neck ache, my sinuses felt icky and i just felt like shit.
I had some dates, ginger and lemon tea and then went to bed at 9, taking a bottle of water up with me. My sleep was bad, i was cold and restless. I woke up at 7.30 with a fuzzy head, jaw ache and neck ache, i had some water and then continued to try to sleep. Every time i woke up id drink some water. I wake up again at 9.30 feeling ALOT better. My sore throat is nearly gone, I'm not aching as much and i feel better in myself, which is good, because i have a long day ahead of me. (I'm doing an equine sale this afternoon and then in the evening its the local farmers disco)
Ive got another mug of ginger and lemon tea, and i think I'll have some garlic with my lunch later, as its anti bacterial.
Now i don't know if i have this lergy that EVERYONE has at the moment, or if its just delayed detox. I don't normally get ill, which is why I'm questioning whether this could be detox or not, seeing as i actually haven't had any detox since Ive been raw (which i thought was weird)
But then again, I'm not invincible, and i might just have caught this virus! I'm getting a headache, i know that!
I'm still going to the disco, I've already paid my ticket, and my friend is coming, so i cant let her down
